Food Containing Iron


Health is wealth and health depends mainly upon food' excercise and sleep. While choosing food foryourself'select nutrient rich food. Iron is an important nutrinet as it take central part in making hemoglobin.Deficieny of iron cause paleness.

Foods containing iron are vegetables especailly Spinach. It contains 15.7 mg/100 calories.


Tea, coffee also contains few iron in it, although we usually feel tea and cofee dangerous for health.


Fish is used in pills also , but to use it in your diet will not cause iron deficiency. Shellfish and fish like clams, mussels, oysters, anchovies, and sardines are known to be rich in iron. These foods also contain protein with little connective tissue which make them easy to digest and get absorbed by the body.
Egg's yolk also contain much amount of iron, so always eat 1 egg in breakfast.

Fruits i.e. Guava' strawberry' mango etc contain iron nutrients.
